Zigzag eel feeding

I'm a commercial fisherman and go offshore for weeks at a time. My fish do fine with an auto feeder so my wife doesn't forget. But I picked up a zigzag eel that like to mow on ghost shrimp. I was thinking about loading my tank up with them before I leave so he would have ample amount of food. Good or bad idea? Obviously the wife would have to make sure there's shrimp in there for him to eat. And if not restock. Thoughts??

Re: Zigzag eel feeding

I may just put a feeder tank close by so she can scoop and feed.

Re: Zigzag eel feeding

Sorry it took so long for somebody to get back to you. A feeder tank would be your best bet. Loading the other tank could create a lot of water chemestry issues and a die-off of ghost shrimp will bring the entire tank population down with it.
