Starting a 150

I am looking to setup a 4' 150g planted chiclid tank I no they don't always go together but want to give it a try. I know I will have to look for tuff plants that like higher alkilinty and such. I will be running 2 48" finned 24/7 planted lights and a custom rgb 50/50 600 led light I made. I am hoping this will be enough for a 30" deep tank. I am also doing a custom buttress tree trunk foam 3D background. What would be a cost effective substrate that will do what I want. Long term I would like to have a full carpet bottom as well as some tall plants in there. I have a couple tanks so hoping to be able to keep the chilcids that like to eat the plants in other tanks. Thanks for any help.
