Re: A mini tank contest!

I wanted to enter, but I didn't read before starting the tank - I heard from someone there was a competition, so I just went a head and made mine... but I don't have a before pic.

It's exactly the same bowl as your very first palmtop (the one you aren't entering)... can I still enter since you have a reference pic to how big the bowl is?

And, are we really not allowed to have snails in it? I guess we can take the finished pics then add snails later...

Re: A mini tank contest!

i used a vase made from a Glass Tube used for making neon signs, the plant is a small piece of Wisteria. It was easier to get the plant in there then the sand. It took me over an hour to get the sand in the curve. But it was fun!!!

Re: A mini tank contest!

I might have to throw in the towel here...I just might have to get rid of the bottle since I'll be on vacation for about a month and I don't know how well it might travel. It's getting hair algae like crazy too :/

It's freaking adorable! I want it! XD (I told Mike I wanted to make one out of an old bettaautolinker.com autolinking image tank, and he said no, lol.)
