Re: A mini tank contest!

Summer thats cute, but I don't think cut glass will show as a mini tank though as you wouldn't see anything from the side.

Re: A mini tank contest!

Do you have an empty jar of the same size you could use as a before pic? That's a really cute idea, but you do need a before pic. Should look great either way when it grows though

Re: A mini tank contest!

Aw crap... I screwed up. My one before pic is of all my materials... not with a reference point. I knew I needed to review this thread again before I started. I made a video of the whole thing, so you could see my process, and planned on putting it on Youtube. Will that work? You can easily see the size of my tank because I hold it up a lot.

Re: A mini tank contest!

I'd say that works, if we can get a general idea of the size of the tank. :3

Re: A mini tank contest!

Well, guess I'll post my finished tank now. It was a lot easier than I expected...but that was my own doing by making it so simple. Still, I like it!

Still don't know if I should add ferts of some type or not...All that's in there is just gravel, a twig, and the moss. Pretty little thing though

Not bettaautolinker.com autolinking image tanks, just mini tanks. :D Actually, I'm pretty sure that my bettaautolinker.com autolinking image wouldn't even fit in my little bottle. You've posted pictures on here before, so I'm pretty sure it's working.

Re: A mini tank contest!

If it won't upload to gallery you can upload it to photobucket then use the image file.

pbr-chick on your finished tank please post a still photo of the tank, not a video. It will make it easier to judge.

Re: A mini tank contest!

I'll add a still photo of my tank to my original post. I'm going to post it in a few weeks though to allow for some growth, if that's ok.

Thats fine, you don't need to add it to original post unless you want to.

Re: A mini tank contest!

looks good. Kinda hard to tell how big it is though...maybe next to a ruler or something? What plants do you have in it?

Same here... except I've got hair algae out the wazoo right now. Had to take my tank out of my window for the time being. The plants don't seem to be growing though.
