Hey guys, Ill start with a little background.

I built a 160sq ft Theater in my house, and left a cut-out in the wall for my 70 (I think) gallon aquarium.
I wanted to do some neat set up perhaps movie themed, but I really just need suggestions on how to get er' all set up.

I really want a freshwater stingray, and a pipefish, or the fresh water seahorse, and anything else neat and colorful. I really like schooling fish.... but again, Im here to learn from you.

Basically right now I have the aquarium, and the stand. (has a filter, and a light) but I can part ways with them if their too old and junky

Welcome! I dont think 70 gal is large enough for a sting ray, sorry. Check aqadvisor.com with stocking plans and ideas to see what your tank can handle and also read up on the nitrogen cycle

Welcome! I'm not very knowledgeable in the exotic freshwater fish realm, I'm a tropical community small-timer myself. What I DO know a bunch about is basic water chemistry, lighting, filtration, and biology that runs a tank behind the scenes, so to speak.

Hit me up in chat during weekdays, I'm here most of the time while I'm at work.

Sorry for the pause,
Hadn't had time to work on the aquarium lately, both cars broke down at once.... Bmw blew a radiator hose (imagine that)
And Escalade blew a brake line...

Anyways. I have the aquarium full of water, with everything running for 3days now, and have maintained 73degrees for the passed 24hours.
Sooo..... What's next? How do I get my tank ready for fish?
