Tank Information:
1. 55 gallon tropical community, fine gravel substrate (Caribsea Instant Aquarium in Rio Grande), several live plants including ozelot, wisteria, and others. Two very large pieces of Malaysian driftwood help soften the water, as well as occasional use of a water softening pillow. Stock is currently 8 black skirt tetras and 6 emerald corydoras (who keep laying eggs!). Planning to add angelfish in a few months when the tank is further established.
2. 10 gallon tropical tank with a female betta and two cories (spotted and albino). Few live plants, many plastic, blue substrate, and a resin Buddha head. My first tank, began in May 09. Planning on adding some colorful fish.
