what the heck are these





they are 2 lil white worm like things around the base of the pump housing never seen these before and just moved getting all my babies back in their home

I have these things all over my pump, no idea what they are, for a while they were spreading pretty bad but then they just stoped

They look like amphipods, kinda hard to tell in your pic though unless you can get a macro shot with better focus.

they look to opaque to be amphiopods, almost looks like a slug.

yea there are 2 of them right now they are whit prolly 2 mm in length about 1 mm in diameter and have lil dusters out the top of them i have never seen them till just after the move here i will see if i can get a better pic tomorrow

I've seen these in my tank before too. I'm not sure, but I think they might be tunicates.

The only other thing I can think of is pineapple sponges. A closer look would be helpful. Either way, they are harmless.

Thinking about it more, I agree with the tunicate/sponge idea. Noway amphipods would be up there and out like that.
