My nano tank has ich, I've had it before in my fresh water tanks so I'm familiar with what it is and why it comes about. but my question is should I be doing water changes while I'm treating my tank? it's a 15 day treatment but on the bottle of the solution it didn't say anything about water changes so I'm not sure if I should or wait until the treatment is over with. Thanks so much!

The treatment is to remove all fish from the nano to a separate tank for treatment and to leave the nano fallow (without fish) for 6 to 8 weeks. You can use copper in the hospital tank or hyposalinity to kill the Ick on your fish. You can't do both at the same time. You don't treat the nano tank itself.

+1 If you just put your fish in a quarantine tank and treat them with hyposalinity and increased temperature (a few degrees F) for a couple weeks, that should do the trick. Unless you'd prefer copper or the like
