Default Re: ich on purple tang.

The two best methods for dealing with ich, IMO, are hyposalinity and copper. I had a yellow clown goby develop ich a month ago, so I moved all my fish to a quarantine tank and dropped the salinity. I was too late catching the ich on the clown goby, but I was able to save my other fish. I have had them in hyposalinity for the past month and I haven't seen any more signs of ich. Shortly after the move to the other tank the royal gramma and one of my clowns developed ich, but it quickly died off and they are happy as can be now. My fish never seemed stressed from the treatment and continued to eat normally.
