I have a yellow tang and a algae blenny in a 55 gallon with liverock.
Anyone have a suggestion for a new companion? |

Well the options are almost endless, You have a bright yellow tank so, that would narrow it down some for me at least, by color. Now, how many more fish do you want to be able to house, do you want one that gets bigger, but is a little on the expensive side. I had a Majestic Angel (Beautiful) til it got to about 5-6 inches and started picking on some of my corals, or to the smaller less expensive like watchman gobies (very interesting) some of the basselets (colorful and active) or a little aggressive like some of the Triggers. Like i said Endless selection and i like em all

I keep sponges and clams, oysters, and scallops. A file fish sp. with my current fish is probably compatible. A pair of Watchman gobies is a good addition, thank you. I think the tang, blenny, file fish, and gobies is good, right?

Should be and sounds like some good choices. I've got a Lawnmower blenny that's really fun to watch but sometimes I wish I'd gotten a red spotted or starry blenny.

I'm so sorry I haven't been on the forum in so long! Don't worry, I haven't forgotten this lovely website! I moved to a different county back in May 2011 and started high school in a totally different school district. So I'm still adjusting and studying hard, and don't presently have any aquariums. But once I do, I'll be right back on this forum! |
