Default Monti Cap & Sexy Shrimp

Hi,

I have a 24 gallon JBJ Nano with the upgraded HGI MH lights. I recentley brought a 3 inch pink monti cap from the LFS and it seemed to be really doing well.

But lately it looks like something has been eating the pink outer part of the Monti. I can see the white skeleton, the pink part looks almost stringy like something has been picking at it. The only thing near it lately has been my sexy shrimp, which I am considering trying to capture.

My question is are Sexy Shrimp known for eating Monti Caps? I have no nudibranches or anything else that I can imagine eating it...

Thanks...

Sexy shrimp shouldn't be a problem for your monti. What are your water quality parameters? And how close is your monti to the light?

I agree, it isn't the Sexy Shrimp, they are harmless...
