Default I Have a Terrorist In My Reef!

So about 4 days ago I went to my LFS and decided to purchase a Diamond Goby. I knew these guys were diggers, but wow! I've already had to move a few corals around, and I'm now worried about some of my rock structures. Can someone with experience with these little guys tell me how much will he or she rearrange my tank? I really like the little guy, he's really cool and has a good personality, just wonder how much repair work he's going to have me doing.

Your rock work should be fine as long as you did your rockscape prior to putting in sand. This assures your rocks are stable. As for how long it will last-until he is happy with his home, but he will always sift sand, as he does it to find food.

x2 just make sure your rocks are stable and sitting on the bottom of the tank. i had my engineer goby completely knock over my entire reef of about 70lbs of LR. it probably wont stop even when it gets situated. mine still after a year will make new caves and ill find big piles of excavated sand
