Default Harlequin Sweetlips

Every thing I have read about these fish say that they are pretty finniky eaters and dont like being bothered when they are eating. Mine seems to be the complete opposite. He is in a 57 gallon tank with two damsels and they seem to leave each other alone. I feed the damsels (Jack and Jill) once the day, a few flakes, and the Harlequin (Harley) two times durring the day, pinch of pellet at both, and then cut up some silver fish and drop in about an hour after I turn the lights off and its all gone by the time the lights come back on.
Im alittle worried hes not getting enough to eat because hes going after the flakes as well but he normaly spits it back out and a damsel comes and snags it. Hes put on weight since Ive gotten him and seems to be doing swell...

Try some Mysis Shrimp also. Mine loved that stuff. And you can actually watch himeat that when the lights are on, to make sure he's getting it. Flake isn't really good for him. Hope you got him in a big tank. They get to 2' long when grown.

Right on. All the fish are different. If he's eating, your doing fine. You will know if he's not getting enough, you will see him get kinda sunkin in the stomach area. They skinny up really bad if they aren't getting enough.
