Default Cleaning wrasse vs cleaner shrimp

Hi guys,

We're not sure what should be the next addition to our tank. We've currently got 3 chromis, blue tang, yellow tang, sailfin tang, fox face, blenny, and a yellow clown goby. The gf and I are debating between a cleaning wrasse and a cleaner shrimp. We like both but not sure which one to get. I've read before that a cleaning wrasse doesn't survive for too long in an aquarium and we aren't sure if there's enough fish for either one.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated everyone, thanks in advance

I'd stay away from the Cleaner Wrasse, pretty tough cookie to keep. Shrimp are pretty safe and easy. Fire Shrimp are more colorful.

what size is your tank? i have a huge cleaner shrimp and hes awesome. only shrimp ive had that stays out in the open. he was tiny when i got him but now hes a little over 2 inches and eats flakes. the pepermints and fire shrimp i have stay in caves and i suspect theyre dead until i see them about once a month. my brother in law has a cleaner wrasse in his tank that eats mysis and hes had it around 3 months and it is doing fine.
