Are Blue/Green Chromis a shoaling fish, and will they eventually kill each other off one by one? I was reading in another forum about other peoples experience with these fish that over the course of time that these fish will kill each other off until only the most dominant one remains. My study of this particular little fish tells me that they are very peaceful, and I'm looking to have a small shoal in my 55 gallon tank. So far I have 2 in my tank, and they are insuperable, so I'm a little confused. Keep one only, or can a shoal live in harmony and even protect themselves from more aggressive fish?
Thanks!

Nasty lil fishies. They will chase each other around to the point of death or a jump out of the tank. You will only end up with one. NO matter how many times I tried this Chromis bunch, I always ended up with one, you'd see them dart from one side of the tank to the next, you think they are swimming together....Nope, its the chase.

One thing I tell hobbyist all the time is t
... The fish didn't read the same books we did. I still have two of them I started a tank with a few years back. They have since been added to another tank, but they are doing fine. They swim together and the whole 9 yards even sleep in the same hole.
