Default Arrow crab

Hi all, I've had an arrow crab for about 2 months now and he has been fine, but this morning when I looked in I saw that he was/is shedding, and all but one of his legs came completely off. (claws are still intact as well) This isn't normal is it? What could have caused this? What can I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

wow, if im not mistaken i believe that is a stage of molting, it looses everything and then grows it back and will become an adult, keep me posted im interested to find out what happens
