Cool New Tank Tenants

Hey there!

Just got some new pics put up of my tank Day 10 into setup. Have some new tenants in there.

A few of questions to go with it too...

1) I think my blue platies are male and female, your thoughts?

2) If they are male and female, your thoughts on names?

3) I also have two "sunfire" platies that I think are male (but they may be too young to really be sure). If they are, is there a potential they will mate with the blue female? If so, does anyone have pics of the result?

Thanks for any feedback and thank you for looking!

The blues in the first photo are defiantly male/female. Hope they breed for ya as they are VERY nice looking!

Left one is a male, right one is a female

Think of your favorite couple in a tv show or movie. Han & Leia, just an example lol

Can't really find a picture, but just expect to have a mix of both blue and orange and some with both colours.

Thumbs up Re: New Tank Tenants

Omg, I am so glad there's another Star Wars fan out there!! Thanks so much for the advice, I wasn't really expecting anyone to be able to sex the orange platies based on those pics. As soon as I replace the dead hard drive in my computer I will upload better pics of that duo (borrowing another computer to type this).

The only reason I really asked was because I was just wondering what colors would come out of a crossbreeding of the platies, or what colors seem to be more dominant. We'll just have to wait and see though, if the catfish doesn't eat all the babies (circle of life).

Thanks for the thoughts I really appreciate all the feedback.
