It's a dedicated forum to post pictures of some of the things in our tanks, pics of new additions, as well as for great information exchange, tips, tricks, and overall just discussing cameras and photography techniques of our tanks. Learn all about apertures, f-stops, ISOs, macro, flashes, white balance, and anything and everything else that drives us crazy to get a masterpiece shot. Feel free to show off your tanks in here, and plus its a great way for humble people to nonchalantly have their tanks nominated by the other members for Tank Of The Month. Don't be shy!

Default My first tank - 30 gallons

This is my first tank, although I've been working on it for a long time. Lots of false starts, disease, and a few dead fish. But it's pretty healthy now, about 8 months later.

4 Cardinal Tetras
5 Rasboras
3 Panda Cory
3 Rummynose Tetras
2 Powder Blue Dwarf Gourami
1 oto
1 Rubberlip Pleco

Thank you! I have one more fake-plant to replace with a live one in the back left corner. That big one in the middle grew HUGE (I have to snip it all the time so it doesn't wrap around the filter) in no time! I'm not sure what it was called when I bought it.

My last addition were the Rummynoses. I've never ever even seen them before I went to my LFS abotu 3 days ago.
I think I'm done now though with that tank as far as adding fish. I don't think it can handle any more.

It looks nice, very well done!I would finish adding live plants, and add just a few more into it to give a mid ground of them.I think the plant in the back looks very nice, though not sure what it is.I think the other long ones on the right are a type of vals, and the brown one is a crypt.they look healthy.

Thanks! I know the brown one is a crypt...though it WAS green when i first bought it. I'm not sure why it turned brown. It may even be dead? I'm not sure.

No,not dead. Its probably the bronze variety which will turn brown. If it was dead,it would not be in there, the melt.
