Tho...

Very nice. The 55 G is my fav. I have several and have fun just growing plants in most of them, along with a few Fancy Guppies and Corydoras. Attached are a couple pics for you.

Keep up the good work!

Hello m...

If you're referring to my tank pics, there's no mystery to growing aquatic plants, if you avoid the more demanding ones that require high end lighting to grow.

I have low to moderate light light plants and have less than 1 watt of light per gallon of tank size. If you can get your lighting into the 1 to 2 watt per gallon range, you can grow most plants.

I have a lot of different plants in pots as you've seen with organic potting soil covered by pea gravel.

Low to moderate light plants do need good liquid fertilizers dosed several times a week.

If you're interested in specifics, just let me know. I'm never too busy to chat about planted tanks.
