But its what I got.. any suggestions on what type of plants or decor to add? Eventually it will be filled with guppies Looking to have about 8 of them.

I think you got a good start on this aquarium. Just look for some larger plants for the back of the aquarium and some low ground plants for the front. We all have to start some place.

Yep, a good start. I hope the Gups are all male. If not, you won't have just 8 for very long.

Ha, yeah I know better than that, its all males. If we get a bigger tank (with in the year) I will get some females to populate the tank Im hoping I can get a fancy guppy they are sooo purty lol
