South East Queensland Aquarium Society Otherwise known as the AandTSociety, this subforum is for the Aquarium and Terrarium society of Queensland Australia. We hope to expand the interests of fellow Societies as to what the hobby can entail within a group, rather than just meetings at a clubhouse or homes. Read the threads for an opportunity to see a bit of what a group like ours has as a special interest above just the standard aquarium club activities that most carry out. The society was formed in 1926, and if you would like to be a member, you're more than welcome to join.

Default easter monday collecting trip

As usual the clubs trip has been productive and a good one.

Though the vis was not great, the oceans temp was a comfortable 25 degrees.

Except for the clubby, Marks requested tangs, we had nothing in particular to share with any members, so it was see what is there and go for it; we keep some just in case some one wants something.

The Easter Monday trip is as follows.
We got in around 9 am and got out around 12 midday.
The weather wasn’t great, it was raining most of the time and in the water, who cares!
Dave had an idea as to take out in his boat and put in some crab pots before the snorkelling and check them on the way back,it didn't happen that way,we did a shore dive instead, we got a big one while snorkelling around anyway.

No video this time, the water was dirty and there was nothing interesting to video.

we had a lot of fun, shame about the weather!

Are you using slurp guns to collect, nets, dynamite (j/k), or what?
