Default lots of questions! :)

Hi all,

I am new to owning a saltwater aquarium and i am thinking about purchasing a 29 Gallon tank. When buying a tank, should it be new or used? WHat about the heater, filter, skimmer etc.

I am planning on getting these fish:
Yellow Prawn Goby: x2
Yellowtail Damselfish X3
Ocerellis Clownfish x2
Catilina goby x2
Blue Reef chromis x1
Royal Gramma bassalet x1

Adding them all at once to avoid aggression.

Does this sound crowded.

If it has to be narrowed dow it would be to:
Yellowtail Damselfish x2
Clownfish x2
Royal Gamma bassalet x1
Catilina goby x1

Does that sound better?

Remember it is a 29 Gallon tank.

Also, which corals are good to add? I am not picky at all, i just need some ideas and pricing.

Thanks for helping, i need feedback as soon as possible!!

Thanks
beginnerfishowner13

REMEMBER: I have only researched a little, so please be kind

I'm afraid I can't really help you with the saltwater questions, but I DO know that a lot of people get used tanks. I hear that they're fine if you wash them out with vinegar, and as long as you never use cleaning products like bleach or soap.

As for the other questions... Well, hopefully my post will bump the thread up so that the saltwater experts can see it. Sometimes a post gets lost among all the others, and you have to bump it up so that people can see it. Good luck getting the answers you need!

Craigslist for a used tank. Best bet, and your cheapest one too.
I like you second list for fish alittle better.
Your looking for Powerheads to move water around
Skimmer to remove organic waste
At least 1.5 lbs of Live Rock for natural filtration
A Refractometer to measure salt in the waterf. ( should read 1.025 )
Heater
Live Sand, or Crushed Coral Enough for a 3" bed.
T-5 HO lighting, for your corals
Thermometer
You should be able to get al this stuff off of Craigslist.
As for Corals, check to see if you have a Club around you, as these guys sell off frags left and right, cheap. If not:

Small fish, that you may also find intriguing.
