I'm debating what to do w/my spare 29gallon tank at the moment, totally empty, blank slate. I bought it so i could try to breed pleco's, decided not too as i didnt want to end up with a million pleco's as i wouldn't be able to do much except sell them to the fish store for a buck a piece. So i really want to do saltwater, and i like clownfish, would like some advice from someone what would go well with a few clownfish, could i do 4 clownfish in a 29 gallon starting with 2 and adding 2 later? I have crappy lighting so i think corals and anenome's would be out for now. It's one of those perfecto hoods with a single bulb. As of now i'm researching proper filtration, and substrates... sorry for all the rambling questions.....

4 clownfish is pushing it in a tank that size. 2 would be much better. Use 1-1.5 pounds of live rock per gallon and if you can afford a skimmer buy one. If you can't afford a skimmer you will need to do weekly 5% water changes. Substrate can be Aragonite sand.
