Hi,
I'm new to the forum so please forgive me if this has been asked... I have 4 large comet goldfish that are 3 years old in a 55 gallon tank. I find that I need to change the water pretty often and I know my Marineland Penguin 350 has trouble keeping up with the bioload though it does cycle the water a decent amount. I have a limited budget but I would like improve the filtration. Should I toss the system I have invested in, in favor of a different style like a canister. Or can I simply add a second 350 and get a similar result? Any input would be really appreciated... Thanks

I would just add a second filter. In fact if you can get the biggest you can on there. It never hurts to over filter when it comes to goldfish.
