Greenwood Pets and Plants in Warren, MI is far and away the WORST fish/pet store in the Detroit area! Not only is the store perpetually disgustingly dirty, but there are wild mice and lizards living and breeding inside this ancient store! The owner, Dennis Jones, has the morals of your average street criminal. I used to work at this store, and have personally witnessed Dennis throw numerous customers out of his store for no legitimate reason except that typicall he was too hung over to properly deal with people who have any issue whatsoever. I've also seen him knowingly sell fish and corals that he KNEW were sick or dying. He has already closed his 2 other stores due to his gross incompetence in treating both employees AND customers respectfully, and his total lack of business acumen. He is capable of putting on a happy face when new customers come in, but he often rolls his eyes at them as soon as they turn their backs! Patronize this store at your own risk! Beware though, as soon as you have any little problem, after waiting awhile (they're hoping you'll just leave) you will likely get an attitude!

Have you reported them to the Better Business Bureau? I would I go to that site to check out businesses all the time.
