Default Aquatic Wildlife, Connecticut, USA

I plan to stock a 90 gallon FW tank and a couple of 30's and I've been scouting around to find a LFS that's fit to patronize. Yesterday, I had the pleasure of stopping in at Aquatic Wildlife in Manchester, Connecticut.

The store is immaculate, as are the tanks, including a 500 gallon SW display tank that is alone worth a visit.

The fish are as healthy and lively as any store I've ever visited, probably healthier. Not so much as a speck on any of the fish, FW or SW. Great selection of SW species, and above average FW. Decent prices, especially considering the quality of their stock.

The manager (who I think is named Sean or John) took time to talk to us and was very knowledgeable and personable.

I'm not yet ready to buy fish and All I bought was plain gravel, but the store carries flourite, etc., and nearly as I could tell, prices were reasonable.

I was impressed with all aspects of the store, and Aquatic wildlife is going to be my LFS from here on in. Even my non-aquarist wife thoroughly enjoyed our visit. On a scale of one to five, Aquatic Wildlife rates a solid five. There are plenty of LFS in Connecticut to choose from, but none of them I've see so far come close to this place. Highly recommended.
