Could someone please tell me more about these? I know you can daisychain them, and they are little squares with one light a piece. What is a good price? Are they any good? please help.

We need more info.
post what unit you are looking at. Bing a engineer I have made my own and the two lights I bought from petsmart that are marineland LED have a moon/night light included. in actuality in theses lights the blue LEDS are on all the time and when you switch to night/moon mode the white LEDS go off. and that mode was a bit bright so I just put electrical tape over the LEDs and made a small hole to let the amount of light I wanted out. I am in the process of making my own lighting system that will mimic the light conditions of the environment that are native to. it might seem a bit overboard but I want happy fish. |

This is the closest I could come. I don't know exactly what they are called but I saw them on my neighbors tank and they looked nice. |

no you can not daisy chain them.
they have a small power supply that can only run one unit at a time. unless you get a larger power supply but that might void the warranty. but there is nothing to stop you from having more than one unit. you will just have to use a plug strip for the power supplies and plug the plugstrip into a timer. |
