Default Trout?

Has anyone ever kept trout? Are they easy to care for? What do you feed them? Come on... tell me all...

Unless you got a 300g tank, you're out of luck, they need MASSIVE amounts of water if they arent in a heavy current environment. I used to keep them at work but they were in a 10K gallon pond and a 9k Gallon aquarium.

also as I understand it they are verrrry susceptible to minute temp changes which might be hard to control.

they are and unless you catch it and even then you are more then likely getting a sterile fish, they only live about 4 years and die be it sterile or wild caught.
300g is a minimum for 1 single rainbow.

id have to have a 6' deepx 20' diameter pond to contemplate keeping a trout and even then there is no guarantee it will make it thru dinner,ZING!

You would definitely need a chiller to keep the temp around 58*
