Default baby Native food

Ive been keeping natives now for about 2 years, and had posted earlier about some baby Orange Spotted Sunfish, i received from a breeder friend of mine, and although i have no problem with feeding normal size natives i catch myself, these are the first real babies ive had. I was concerned that because Native fish especially wild caught ones can be a problem to feed at first, because they wont take most staple foods like pellets. However i am glad to announce that i found a product called Hikari "Micro Pellets" and the babies are taking them like crazy. I still feed the blood worms, white mosquito larvae, etc, but these pellets hopefully will bulk these guys up a little quicker

Those are great, I use the Hikari micro pellets for my ruby green fry and they really like them.

I use the micro pellets for my porkchop rasboras and green and gold neon tetras. They LOVE them. Even my yoyo's get in on the act. Everyone is beefing up very well.

The only thing ive ever fed beef heart to was big boys, like redtailed cat, i found it messy and fouled my tank water too much for my taste
