I have a Plecostomus named Ragnarok, I believe he is a Leopard Sailfin Pleco. He is very beautiful, I was wondering if anyone has any input on why he seems to change color? Is he trying to camouflage with the sand? Some times he looks like this:
![]() And sometimes he looks like this: ![]() I just recently started feeding him zucchini, and he is going crazy over it! It's kind of making a mess of my tank though... Anyhow I just thought I would see if anyone has any info for me. I did a couple searches and a lot of the sites said that specific plecos have specific dietary needs, but then I couldn't find anything about the Leopard Sailfin type. Any additional info appreciated!

Usually a sign of stress. Not neccessarily a bad thing but something has him worked up.
