I have a 36g Bowfront with black rounded gravel, mixed with Eco-complete (I know sand is preferred for Cory's but they will do fine on what I have.)
What I was wondering, is.... do I have enough space for them: Aquarium Gallery - 36g Bow Front plants in! I have lots of drift wood in there and tons of plants... so many in fact, that I'm a bit worried the Cory's won't have room to look for food.... I know it looks like there is a lot of space at the front.... but that's about all the open space there is... the rest is just plants, lol. Cory's would be fine on the hard wood and then the intermittent space between plants right? I'm also possibly going to be putting lava rocks where all the Java Ferns are at the front (to tie the ferns to), so that will take up more gravel space.... I'll try to bury as much of the rock as possible, so there will be gravel on top. I wanted 6 Julii's - they are gorgeous!!! Thanks for the advice.

They should be fine as long as the eco or gravel has no rough edges. Or you can make a barrier along the front of the plants with plastic strips cut to hieght of the substrate and add sand to the from of the tank.

Thanks!
The gravel has no sharp edges and the Eco-complete is very small pieces.... they would be more of a fine gravel if anything - not sharp, but more smaller and thinner pieces... not as round as the gravel.

You hace plenty of room for 6 Juliis. In fact, you could add 4 more. They will find the food where ever it is. They like a tank with lots of rocks and plants. Don't add any mean fish. If Pigmy Corys are available where you live get some of them too. Good companion fishes for your Juliis are Marblehatchets and Cardinal Tetras. Corys don't lke water that is too warm so keep their temperature below 78F.

Thanks! I'm keeping the tank at 77 degrees. I had planned on getting Harlequin Rasboras and a few Dwar Gouramis with them. I'll have to double check the temperature range for those two types of fish...
