Default My first otto but don't know what kind it is

Hi every one I just picked up an otto from petsmart. I got a couple of pics and was wondering what kind it is. They just got them shipped in as I came in and weren't sure what type it was. Kinda hoping they gabe me a zebra one but I doubt it.

Looks like O. Vittatus. Can you get a better shot of the tail?

She also didn't go near the allege wafer. I left it over night. This morning I took it out and tried to crush it up and poured it back in there. But every one else in there took it. I figured the shrimp would get it but didn't think the guppies would pick at it.

Hey Will. Definately an O. Vittatus.

Algea waffers are very hit and miss. Keep supplimenting with freshly blanched veggies. Once you notice her snarfing on the zuc, you can start trying to introduce the waffers. Do this by placing one directly in the center of the zuc.

I may be wrong, but mine love brine shrimp pellets, sinking type, I was told by a few people that they will eat Algae if they are forced too but would much rather prefer veggies or shrimp
Also I noticed feeding mine right before "lights out" generally works better than with the lights on.

If she's on it...she's nibbling it. She knows it's there now and will frequent it.

She seemed fine yesterday. I did my waster change yesterday when I added the java fern and my new shrimp but came down her this morning to find her on her side
