Default Feeding Cories

Hi all..
Just wondering what everyones feeding schedules are for your Cories?

I have been feeding my shwartzies once every other night, they don't appear to be hungry on the in between days.
Is this a good practice?

Sounds good

My albinos will glutton themselves whenever they can find food, lol, but I use the every other day method on my small 10 gallon anyway. Every other day I drop a pinch of flakes in, the Mollies eat what they want, and then my young Dojo Loach and 3 Cories gobble up the rest pretty quick. I treat them once a week to an algae wafer or a few blood worms too well actually, they usually get some blood worms more than once a week, since I have to hand feed the ADF every other day, and unlike the fish, once he's fully he stops eating, so there's always some left over blood worms resting on the bottom, and the Cories are quick to find them :P

how many Cories are we talking about here though? How large of tank?

Definitely not enough, three in a 90gal.but the tank is thick with a carpet of E.tenelis.
There are free areas of smooth sand for them to root around in.
Are you using live or frozen bw's. I've tried frozen, they won't touch them, but the shrimp
eat 'em like cartoon caricatures eating hotdogs.

I use frozen ones, thawed out of course

mine love 'em. actually all the fish in my tank seem to love them. they pretty much will fight over them when they're dropped in. I've watched one of my Mollies chase a Cory around with half a bloodworm hanging out of it's mouth, lol. it's pretty entertaining to watch

the only thing you have to make sure of is that there's enough food actually making it to the bottom of the tank for them. that's why I like to treat them with a sinking algae wafer (that I break into 2 or 3 smaller pieces, just so there's not as much competition for it between them and the Dojo Loach) once a week

Cool Re: Feeding Cories

I have lots of cories in several of my tanks and I feed them when I feed my other fish (twice a day). They seem to like "Sinking Wafers" and "Shrimp Pellets". I also put in small pieces of fresh shrimp or crab every once in awhile. They seem to like to "group feed". Any particle of food that sinks to the bottom they will investigate and are always burrowing in the gravel looking for something.

I didn't think Corys were too keen on algae wafers...mine don't seem to mess with them too much when I tested to see if they would eat them. I feed mine shrimp pellets every couple of days.
