Curious as to what you plan on doing with these guys if you don't mind me asking? They are gonna get huge...especially the channel.

They'll eat anything that hits the bottom. Food really won't be an issue unless you don't have any at all. As for temps...low to mid 70s is good.

High quality pellets would be ideal. I only feed and recommend New Life Spectrum. My Achara catfish went from about 3" to 15" in only a few months, and a channel could definitely match if not exceed that. I hope you are ready for a hungry 3' catfish.

Stocking has NOTHING to do with tank volume, it is all about water changes.

Hi,

They are both cold water cats. 70 degrees is good. I have both myself. They will eat krill. life spectrum pellets. When they get bigger you can feed them live food like rosey reds. The channel cat will get much larger then the bullhead. Prepare to get a much bigger tank if you plan to have them for while. I grew my channel cat to 29 inches and my bullhead topped out at 16 inches. GOOD LUCK
