Default Albino bristle nose pleco

I have a 2 yr old albino bristle nose that ive noticed he is turning really red. It's like blood under his skin.Is this normal ? I feed him algae wafers every other day and theres plenty of wood . I dont feed him anything else like veggies. My water is fine its been set up 3 yrs and i do weekly water and filter changes.

Albinos have no pigment in their skin so the color of their blood easily comes through. Albinos also have pink eyes that are ofen sensative to light. Most albino animals don't survive long in the wilds because they always stand out and can't hide.
