what to do with fish fry?
i am getting a pair of convict cichlids buy i have heard they are like "the rabbits of the fish world" or reproduce a lot so i was wondering what to do with the extra babies? flush them i guess? if i keep them in there would the parents eventually eat them?

Cons are very protective of their young, they might eat them the first few times but after that expect a CON ONLY tank.
They are like rabbits, you heard right. I see them all the time on craigslist and always in abundance at local club swaps. Good Luck. |

I got'em breeding in an un-cycled tank already. Ammonia, nitrites and nitrates all over and low and behold....babies!
