Default Two small Oscars, one acting sickly...

Hi,

I bought two very small oscars, they are both still small, but one isn't growing at the rate of the other and I'm getting worried about it's behavior...

Right now it is sat within the stems of a Tiger Lotus (water lily) and this morning is was sat with it's belly on the gravel. It looks like it's sleeping but it isn't. The other Oscar is busily swimming up and down the glass trying to beg for food.

Until this morning the one which I assume is sick was eating, but I saw him eat nothing when I fed them this morning. I can see no stomach bloating so I don't know if he would be constipated? His fins are also clamped to his body.

....

The weirdest thing just happened... The other Oscar swam over to him and nudged him, the sick one then opened up it's fins and swam out from the stems. It's now swimming around with the other oscar.

False alarm? Hoping so... Why the hell do fish do this to us...

Is he still ok? I don't know about oscars, some fish will rest like that.

As of this morning he is swimming around fine. I'm assuming it was constipation or something temporary.
