Default rowdy oscars

I don't really know why but periodicly my oscars get kinda rowdy. They go through and pull the thermomiter and heater off the wall as well as pulling the screen off the filter intake. They don't appear to have any problem with each other as they seem to always be side by side in close proximity. They also seem to be digging, but that is more normal.

I am not realy conserned but I am kinda curious if any one has some insite into these behaviors.

Default Re: rowdy oscars

These behaviors listed above are all very normal in Oscar behavior, they quite frequently and often disturb all sorts of items in their tanks including the thermometer, plants, filter equipment and just about anything else they want get into, your Oscars are active and healthy : ) If you have a heater in there, be certain that the glass part does not break as this could pose a dangerous situation to your fish.
