Default New Baby Oscar Questions

Hello,

Been checking out the forums for a little bit now, finally decided to post. I went and got myself a baby oscar this weekend and I have a couple of questions. Since I have gotten him, he has yet to eat from what I have seen. I have tried many things: pellets, bloodworms, beefheart, etc. Any ideas on what else I can try?

Another thing, he tends to just sit in the plants or around the rocks on the bottom, is this normal? I thought that Oscars were a bit more active? Do I just have a bad fish maybe?

Thanks!

Matt

How long have you had him? He could be shy. It could be that he is not well though. How long have the tank been set up? Is it cycled yet?
