ive noticed this whitish thing on his forehead for about 5 days now and didnt think anything of it until today whenit started sinking into his head...anyway its the only one and i caught it early... i feed him a healthy diet, hikari cichlid pellets, frozen bloodworms, earthworms, insects ifind around the house,(stinkbugs and moths),and tropical flakes.the only thing i could think of is bad water qualitybut i do water changes every2-4 days and after 2 theres waste all over the bottom of the tank

Oscars by nature are filthy fish, that 2-4 days is about a week to their bio load.
Ive had HITH with a few angels before and even under those daily PWC conditions it still happened. Try this site. Hole in the Head Disease in Oscar Fish - Oscarfishlover.com |

I would guess it got the disease because of too many big sized fish in a small tank creating a lot of ammonia.

If it is HTH, have you gotten meds yet? Don't wait too long or you will loose him. Diseases are more easily curable if you catch them early and treat right away. Quite a few meds out there to treat that particular disease.
