Default Feeding a Baby Oscar in a 75 Gallon Tank

Well, I ran out of money for a 250 gallon, so a 75 gallon is what I have now, I sold my Red Devil and reset my tank. The tank now inhabits a 5 inch pleco, 2 4 inch and one 3 inch Red Tail Tin Foil Barbs, and now a 1.5-2 inch Oscar. My dilema is that I dont see him eating much. I make sure the tin foils get a good share of food and then try and feed the Oscar but he just seems kinda out of it, he'll dart every once in a while and will come to the edge of the tank but I dont see him eating much. If he is going to get big and strong he'll have to mow down some food (krill and small pellets and flakes) are what i'm putting in the tank but no response, perhaps putting him in a 10 gallon for a while until he's ready? I'd rather not get another tank going as I already have a 30 gallon and a 10 gallon used for other peaceful community fish.
