Arrow Crenicichla multispinosa?

Does anyone have any experience with the South American pike cichlid Crenicichla multispinosa? I have been thinking of purchasing a few of these expensive fish but I want to make sure I get an appropriate aquarium set up for them but I am not sure exactly what that would be. Should they be housed in a species only tank or are other pike cichlids or other South American cichlids acceptable tank-mates for this fish? There just doesn't seem to be much information out there on this specific fish.......

Default Re: Crenicichla multispinosa?

I had a friend that kept a couple of these, he kept them with larger cichlids. Once they start growing they will eat smaller fish. More than one they can get aggressive with each other if they are trying to mate.
