Hi guys !!
I got a problem (?) with my tetras they've got these little bubbles on their bodies, although they look healthy, they're eating normal, and they behave as far as I can see normal. According to the regular procedure, I raised the temperature, since yesterday, but the bubbles are still there, and as I said everything appears to be in order (except the bubbles) Should I worry ? Or just wait and see what happens ? ![]() ![]()

Does it look like the fish have been sprinkled with sugar or salt? If you posted a pic it would be better. Could be ich, but you should be sure before you start any form of treatment.

Yeah it does look like they've been sprinkled with salt. A picture with tetras is kinda dificcult; you know how they just keep on moving left and right and never stay in one place more than a fraction of a second. You're gonna have to take my word on that.
Something curious is that it is only the cardinals because the black dot tetras are alright as far as I can tell.

Look up Ich online, and if it's that, move quickly. It's a common, dangerous parasite for which there are many medications in pet shops. What's available will depend on where you are, but they all work if you move fast.
The parasite feeds on the fish, so you can't wait long. |

Ok this is the story:
I looked at some pics of ich affected fish and they all look very much like tiny cotton spots. My fish have literally bubbles in fact, it looks like the kind of bubbles you see in a glass with soda, only really small. They even shine as bubbles do. Still puzzled :(
