ok so just recently i've been getting a bit of bubbles that stay on top of the water for long periods of time, it goes away after i do a water change but a day or 2 later they're right there again, any tips?

Is that a problem? I would assume it's from air bubblers in the tank....I have bubbles too i never thought twice about them meaning anything negative just that the tank was well oxygenated

thats the thing though, i dont have an airstone or anything in the tank at the moment, i have an aqueon quitetflow 10 power filter on it and the water level never gets too low and they wernt there up untill about a week ago

Sounds like a protein film.Stick your finger in the tank and run it along the surface.
