Default Fiddlers Crabs not eating?

Well I just bought new Fiddler Crabs last week
They don't eat the algea disks I place in there for them
At first I placed the disks inside the water but they just kinda picked at it with their claws and walked away. I would always see the disks dissolved in the corner. I dipped in water and placed the disks on the land part because i saw my female picking the sand earlier. But no luck. Can anyone give me advice? Should I use other food? Please help they haven't eaten in a while

Default Re: Fiddlers Crabs not eating?

They don't care for algae, feed either shrimp pellets or bloodworms. I drop a whole cube of frozen blood worms for mine and its gone in a couple of hours. The big male guards it like its all his till he gets his fill, then the next one has a go at it.
