Default Converting SW SF Morays to brackish

Can it be done? I had a kid tell me its easy to transfer a Salt Water Snow Flake Moray Eel to Brackish VS Salt. I am talking about the black and white one, not the already brackish fugly brown one. I think thats so stupid and would seem like a huge waste of time.
