Hi, can anyone tell me where I can buy DLS material? You can see the stuff I have on my old prefilter has really broken down over the years. I can't seem to find it at my local aquarium stores.

One more bump. I can't believe no one knows where to get this stuff. what are people using in their prefilters these days?

have no idea and even had to google dls.

perhaps you could use some plastic screen from a hardware store or some kind of nylon mesh material from a fabric store and rebuild your existing.

Thanks Bob, the problem with screen is it's very flat. The DLS material is really thick and 3D like and keeps a nice space between the PVC pipe and the filter media so it won't clog up so easily.
