Where do they go? Do the longitudinal braces run along the front and back plates of glass at the bottom? Do they lay flat on the bottom or do they stand on edge snugged up to the front and back plates? How do they offer structural support?
Does the cross brace go across the top of the tank? Is silicone the only "glue" that is needed? Do I need a cross brace for a 90 gallon +/- tank that would be about 54 inches wide? Is 3/8" glass plate strong enough or should I up it to 1/2"? What about an aluminum angle iron frame to go around the top and base? Any ideas? Do these add structural benefit? Thanks for the help!!
