Default tetracyline

has anybody heard of tetracyline..does it remove the white spot on discus?

These sites dont say that it treats for ich. The last site give some suggestions on what to use for fish in general. Maybe do some googling to see if theres something specific for discus. Such as this site "http://reliableaquaticsproducts.blogspot.com/2010/04/treatment-for-discus-white-spot.html" which says methelyn blue is the best for it.

Post a pic. White spot? Many white spots? Single? Big? Small? I wouldn't assume it is ich, quite a few things out there will have a single white spot.

Tetracycline is an anti-biotic and usually used to treat infections. If it is ich, I would suggest just increasing the temp. I assume your Discus already have the tank temp above 80...temps of 89-90 will kill ich. But, once you post the pic others will be able to help you diagnose it. Knowing what the problem is before you start a treatment is the most important thing.
