Default standing bubbles on surface

new at keeping discus. my 55 g tank was clear for the first few days and now its cloudy and the surface of the water has too many standing bubbles. it looks kina slimy. my PH is 7, GH is 5, KH is 9. what am i doing wrong? tank has a few rock, two drift wood and some plastic plants. can someone help me to clear up the water

the cloudiness is from a bacterial bloom. it'll be gone in a few days. no worries. The standing bubbles occurs when you dont have enough surface agitation. So put a powerhead or somethin on the top to mix things up.

thanks. i put a canister pump thats made for 100 gallon tank to try to get rid of the standing bubbles and it helped but the cloudiness is still there. hope it will go away soon beacuse i want to see the true colors of my discus.

You could also do a water change. That will help a bit but its still best to wait it out. Its a white cloudiness right? if its brown then its dyes from wood, if its green, then it algae.
